Don’t miss the excitement of Heritage Days

Over the weekend of September 21st and 22nd, Paris will be celebrating the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days). Take advantage of the opportunities afforded by this special occasion to experience exceptional events, discoveries, encounters and wonders. The Roch Hotel & Spa team have some suggestions for making the most of it all...

Heritage Days and how to make the most of them

The principle behind Heritage Days is twofold. Firstly, it’s about giving people free access to places of culture such as museums, but it’s also a chance to open the doors of various institutions, administrative buildings and other sites that are normally closed to the public. The various initiatives have multiplied over the years, giving rise to a variety of events such as workshops, thematic guided tours, concerts, conferences and open days... However, free admission means that it is often necessary to book in advance to ensure your place. Your Roch Hotel & Spa teams can also help you organize your visits throughout your stay.

Our Heritage Days favourites

Of course, we will always recommend classic, must-do activities such as a thematic guided tour of the Louvre or a trip to the Elysée Palace, but we suggest you don’t miss out on less well-known but equally interesting events. Last year presented the opportunity to discover the secrets of the Paris Metro, courtesy of the RATP, dive into the world of haute couture and luxury by visiting the Lancel and Chloé fashion houses, experience the blissful serenity of a concert in the gardens of the Museum of Romantic Life, and much more. We bet that this year the programme will be just as rich and varied.

Immerse yourself in the many wonders of Heritage Days during the third weekend of September! We’re waiting to welcome you for a break rich in surprises and discoveries.
