A day at the Tuileries Garden

Some people are under the impression that Paris has no green spaces. They're wrong, of course, and if you're staying at the Roch Hotel & Spa you'll be delighted to know that a five minutes’ walk will take you to the 25 hectares Tuileries Garden. This aesthetically pleasing and entertaining green space is the perfect place to walk or relax. In a word: unmissable!

A picnic at the Tuileries Garden

You can enjoy a memorable picnic in the Tuileries Garden at any time. Make it a real gourmet event by shopping at some of the Madeleine district's famous delicatessens. Once equipped, head for the beautiful gravelled pathways of the Tuileries. Choose your spot under the watchful gaze of the Maillol, Giacometti, and Rodin statues as you marvel at the perspectives conceived by Le Nôtre in the 17th century. Sit at the edge of the water features, in the cooling shade of the chestnut trees or on one of the benches that dot the paths.

Enjoy the Tuileries Fun Fair

You can enjoy all the fun of the Tuileries Fun Fair during your stay at Roch Hotel & Spa in Paris. The famous Fête des Tuileries takes you back to your childhood until 26th August, and you'll love rediscovering sensations like the bumper cars and carousels with wooden horses. Try rifle shooting and duck fishing or stop for a toffee apple or candy floss. The Fête des Tuileries is open daily from 11:00 a.m. until late in the evening. Go along with your partner or family for an enchanting break in a superb setting designed by Le Nôtre. The Jardin des Tuileries is a favourite with Parisians who come to stroll, jog, read a book, or chat with friends. Adopt some of the best local habits; take a picnic and enjoy the garden's timeless atmosphere or journey back to childhood with your own kids at the Fête des Tuileries. In short - all the charm of a Parisian summer!
