The art of the 20th century and beyond
The galleries of the 1st and 8th arrondissements offer a very wide panorama of the current art market. At the moment, the Hélène Bailly Gallery is offering a variety of works grouped under the theme “Art from 1940 to the Present Day”. The canvases of Dubuffet and Soulages hang alongside, for example, those of Hans Hartung. A few steps further, the Galerie de la Présidence is focussing on the work of Albert Marquet. Currently, you will also find various superb paintings displayed there from Maurice de Vlaminck’s Cézanian period.
