Saut Hermès: the biggest names in show jumping gather in Paris

Since 2009, Paris has been home to the highest level of equestrian show jumping competition in the form of the Saut Hermès. For three days, the world’s greatest riders and their mounts compete in an elegant atmosphere, reflecting the image of the competition’s sponsor. It’s an electric event that thrills enthusiasts and neophytes alike. Book your stay at the Roch Hotel & Spa and attend the thrilling sporting action on March 17th, 18th and 19th.

An intense programme of equestrian prowess

As renovation works in progress make the Grand Palais inaccessible, the Saut Hermès will take place again this year in the Grand Palais Éphémère on the Champ de Mars, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. This elegant setting is perfectly suited to a competition this stylish, creating a setting in which emotions are experienced more intensely. For three days, the various qualifying events follow one another until it’s time for the main one, the Grand Prix Hermès, which will be held on Sunday March 19th at 15:30. Young riders also have a chance to shine in a series of competitions that will decide between 20 riders under 25 years old.

Entertainment for everyone

Of course, equestrian sports enthusiasts will find all the ingredients for their pleasure, but those with just a casual interest are not overlooked. Plenty of entertainment is provided. You can enjoy the magnificent Traversées equestrian show, watch the impressive carriage races and relish the warm ambiance of the late Saturday evening. Remember to book your tickets as soon as possible!

After the intensity of the Saut Hermès competition, you will be delighted to return to the welcoming Roch Hôtel & Spa. For a relaxing and reinvigorating break, you might also like to try out the brand new Wellness Galerie, the well-being space of the Galeries Lafayette department store, located about ten minutes’ walk from the hotel.
