Vasarely - an exceptional exhibition at the Pompidou Centre

The Pompidou Centre is well-known for its innovative and large-scale exhibitions and yet again it enhances its reputation with a celebration of Victor Vasarely, the creator of optical art from February 6 to May 6.

Victor Vasarely at the Pompidou Centre – an unmissable event

This is the first time that Victor Vasarely has been the subject of any major retrospective in France. This new exhibition is thanks to the Pompidou Centre, one of the capital's hubs of modern and contemporary art.  In it, the curators not only explore the painter's career thematically and in chronological order, but they also highlight his undeniable influence on the pop culture scene of the 60s and 70s. More than 300 works and documents from numerous collections illustrate key points of Vasarely's career.
